To create is to be willing to take risks, experiment, investigate, imagine, go back, persist and allow yourself to make mistakes. Let’s value the attempts, the flaws and the learning that’s gained collectively by experience, by getting your hands on.
Learn by getting your hands on and doing it
UNOi EDUCATION MANIFESTO
Maker Culture erupted from the do-it-yourself movement and is centered around the idea that we are all capable of creating, building, fixing or adapting using our own resources. It is the leap from learning to know more to learning to do, or better, learning by doing.
In partnership with Nave à Vela, specialist in applying maker culture to schools, our resources offer, starting from the group of 5-year-olds up, the possibility of applying maker culture activities integrated to the curriculum. The goal is to incorporate a new learning procedure to UNOi’s educational project, supplying our partners the possibility to go further into a contemporary teaching tendency.
Based on its matrix of skills and aptitudes, UNOi created TRAJETOi. It’s an interdisciplinary thematic project that develops a series of skills and abilities through different active strategies in our methodology every bimester.
